Ironline Command

★★★★☆ 4.3 Editor rating

Ironline Command strips RTS down to what I actually care about: reading the map and reacting fast. You don't micromanage dozens of units — you manage a handful of squads, their supply lines, and the choke points that decide everts. It's tense in the best way.

The touch controls took me a session to trust, but drag-to-order works cleanly once it clicks. Each mission is bite-sized, usually eight to twelve minutes, which suits a phone perfectly. Losing a supply depot early can cascade into disaster, so scouting is never wasted effort.

There's no story to speak of, and the campaign leans on repeated objectives. But the moment-to-moment decision-making is sharp enough that I kept replaying maps to find cleaner routes.
